We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development specialist to support expansion of an established innovative technology company.  At Quantum Dimension you will seek companies that can benefit from QDI’s cutting-edge projects/products in RF, cellular, and navigation systems.  We are preparing for a new product launch in the next quarter and require assistance with marketing and business development opportunities for this new and exciting technology in our IoT product area.

We are seeking an individual who can work out of our HB office making calls to various companies to generate leads for services or product sales.  As an engineering firm serving the defense industry, we seeking an individual who can call into organizations at various levels (Program Manager/VP) and set up appointments and generate further interest in our solutions and products.  Initially travel will be local only with outside sales calls, seminars, trade shows, etc.  Our new IoT product launch will involve working heavily with the product development team.  Additional marketing or solution management skills will be valuable in this position.   This position offers autonomy and the ability to grow a sales organization.

DESIRED BACKGROUND

Successful candidates will:

  • Have prior engineering and/or software solution sales experience
  • Have worked with new product launch/newer products
  • Have working knowledge of Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint required and Visio/Project software experience a +.
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be a good team player
  • Be a self-starter

EXPERIENCE

  • BS Preferred in technical field
  • 2+ years work experience in a technology or software company
