Cloud Security Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for protecting our cloud environments and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You’ll work closely with IT, DevOps, and development teams to implement and maintain robust cloud security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud security solutions across platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Monitor and respond to cloud security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for cloud environments
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and risk analysis
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
• Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in cloud security or information security roles
• Strong understanding of cloud security architectures and controls
• Experience with security tools such as IAM, WAF, SIEM, and endpoint protection
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, or GDPR
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, CEH)
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools
• Experience in threat modeling and penetration testing
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
